Chardonnay’s Can’t Blow Out the Candles Trail – R*n 1435

About 20 -25 Hashers braved the Antarctic weather conditions to meet at the Civic Club for Can’t Stop’s 65^th birthday run. It allegedly never rains on a Hash night, but on this occasion hashers ran and walked in rain/wind/sleet maybe a snowflake or two and a bit of hail as well.

The over 65 old man Can’t Stop instructed the Pack that there was a run, walk and an NDIS walk. That’s if the trail was still marked.

Outside the Civic club we turned right into Davey Street, across the road into Molle Street, along to the Hobart rivulet trail. Once we hit the trail, we spent most of the time dodging puddles.

A bitterly cold walk alongside the raging rivulet before we then turned left over the bridge into Wynyard Street, then hashed as much as possible to the undercover p!ss stop – thank goodness – at the old Wheatsheaf Hotel. Most Hashers did not stay long at the p!ss stop as it was just so cold. Of course, the runners never even bothered to go to the p!ss stop, much to the chagrin of the birthday boy.

Once back at the Civic Club, pizzas were had for tea followed by a birthday cake and a lively circle.

Slippery was on her lonesome in charge of the skols so Dame Edna offered to be her chardonnay bitch.

• Can’t Stop & Prickit. The Hares.
• Dame Edna for being a C’ntry member!
• Millstone was awarded to Lone Arranger for 700 Chardonnay Hashes

Slippery then decided to work her way around the room to extract skols from the floor!

• Red Dress-> Can’t Stop. Instructions pre-run said to look for trail in the dry spots. The runners found no trail in any of the dry spots .. and not much in the wet spots either.. not much trail at all really! So no runners got to the p!ss stop!
• Softy-> Can’t Stop. Seems to have given up on Hash.. and setting decent trails  ..But has been spending a lot of nights with Snack Bar….Too much topping and tailing seems to heve resulted in some dodgy DNA transferral.
• R-> Growler Abandoned her mates on the retirees bike hash, preferring to spent the morning doing housework.
• Grizzly-> Can’t Stop, for being a Buffday Boy!
• Prickit-> Snack Bar Had to cut his Hash short… because he got caught short and had to rush back to the lavatory at the Civic Club!
• Wee Bev -> Brazilian, Clearfell and Can’t Stop .. went on their retirees bike Hash in gale force winds and torrential rain yesterday… after woosing outlast week in a bit of drizzle!
• Growler-> Uber Took Cumunion on a date night… to a Crib Night dinner at the RSL… where they hooked up with Dyke …and had a threesome!
• Brazilian-> Snack Bar Got a fancy new Hugo Boss umbrella which blew inside out on its first outing!
• Grizzly-> Lone Arranger For reneging on the agreement that when Hash is at the Civic Club Griz gets to drink Kilkenny and LA drives home. Unfortunately, Dame Edna plied LA with so many bubbles at the p!ss stop that she was three-sheets to the wind when she got back to the club.
• Can’t Stop-> Wee Bev for being thoughtful and advising him that the runners would not be at the Piss stop due to there a complete lack of trail to take them there!
• Jugs provided us with a joke or two… A lesson for Hooray!
