Chardonnay’s Goat of Chris Miss Past Trail – R*n 1450

It was a smaller than usual pack in attendance on Chardonnay ‘s Boxing Day run, but we did have two Chardonnay virgins in attendance – Victoria from Denmark and French Tickler. We also had No Balls from South Oz come along as a visitor, as well as Lone Arranger’s sister Carol (aka Fruitcake). 

It was a mild evening and thankfully the 30 degrees that the Bureau of Meteorology promised didn’t eventuate, so that made Jack Shit’s run less sweaty and more tolerable.

We wound our way through the streets of  Montagu Bay, where every second house seemed to have a deflated Santa and odd assortments of misplaced Christmas decorations. Onwards we Hashed over hills and golf courses, swearing intermittently at Jack Shit for marking out such a steep run so soon after Christmas! We even ended up in the back streets of Warrane, where luckily even the drug sellers were frightened off by our cries of ‘on on’ and ‘false trail.’ 

We made it home safely and the Pack mainly stuck together due to the false trails and Hashers wondering off and losing trail, then finding it again!

At the on-on we all enjoyed our Christmas leftovers and booze with, Wee Bev trying her best to offload some of her risotto, and Grassroots offering some dessert.

After the Lip session, most hung around for some time afterwards as it was such a lovely balmy evening and everyone was keen to chat and debrief their Christmas experiences.

Guest Lip: Grizzly

• Jack Sh!t– The Hare – widely regarded as a very good trail
• Hash Virgin Victoria.. a Danish relative of GrassRoots’ cum to Tasmania to check out her roots!
• No Balls A Visitor from Adelaide Hash who just can’t get enough Hobart Hash. In four days she has attended H5, Christmas Hash and Chardonnay tonight!
• No Balls. Claimed to have no balls, but was keeping them in a tin and was seen handing them around before trail.
• Dyke. He booed In the Raw (an upstanding member of Chardonnay) when he arrived at hash. Hurt ITR’s.
• Twinkleoes. For distressing Chris Miss! Chris Miss asked after Randall the dog and Twinkle & Dyke joked that one of them had tied Randall to the tow bar before they left for Hash.
• Crusha. His Christmas day leftovers consisted of a fresh batch of Kentucky Fried Rat (KFC) … which he shared with Billie the dog!
• Herr Flick Wee Bev provided him with a doggy-doo bag so he could be a boy scout (be prepared) should he get caught short on trail.  Flicky however failed to pass on this tip to Snacky. (Would it really have made a difference?)
• Wee Bev. For telling Billie “Wait for me” as Billie got up from her doggy squat after doing a poo! Twinkle thought that Wee Bev was about to squat in the same place!
• Pee Wee. Berated Hashers for applying sunscreen despite the overcast conditions at 6:30 at night…. Then discovered it was insect repellant!

• Wee Bev -> In The Raw For being stupid enough follow two chatting women instead of looking for trail himself!
• Grassroots While handing out cake she apparently called out that she had “Lost her cherry”
• In The Raw ->  Pee Wee was walking happily with Herr Flick & In The Raw till they got to the retirement home… where all of a sudden he developed a stoop and a limp as if he needed a zimmer frame for assistance …. He has been hashing for 50 years!
• Grizzly -> Lone Arranger for blaming Leo for a very smelly pop off that Grizzly released while in company. It was so spectacular that Grizzly wanted credit for it!
