Many hashers gathered for another great trail that seemed like it was from the end of
the eastern shore, it was from the end of either Oceania Drive or Tranmere Road, I
can never tell. When I was a bit younger I did have a friend who lived in the last
house in Tranmere Road. His house is now about 5 km back towards the Shoreline.
That’s progress. The trail was really good, through paddocks, around the shoreline,
many false trails, allegedly no hills, except for the damn steep concrete false trail
near the end. This bloody hill was the only time where unfortunately I hit the front of
the pack. However once at the top of the damn concrete hill, there were great views
of the river.

Like others I think it was not a night for shorts, but we warmed up. By all
accounts the NDIS trail was good as well, even though one of the NDIS walkers had
to get a lift back from the piss stop. Don’t know where the runners went but we all ended up at the piss stop, which was really at the end of the road, only the one road that wound its way towards south arm. Good piss stop with even more fantastic views.

After the BBQ a lively piss stop ensued, where finally ITR was held to account for the
loss by the Geelong hand baggers (Pussies) in the AFL Grand Final. Great to see.

• In the Raw: Has been absent from Hash for a while; must have had a mysterious case of car flu.
• Platypussy: Brought a Halloween costume to wear to Hash but it was a night early.
• Morticia: For mistaking the N on the NDIS trail for a Z and leading the entire walking pack astray.
• Maximus: A skol as a reward for flying past the NDIS walkers, up a hill and calling an FT.
• Clearfell: Travelled all the way from Longley to Hash, which took him one hour and 10 minutes.
• Can’t Remembers: In The Raw

Xena>In The Raw: Xena and Dyke held out on following ITR up a hill that had FT written all over it. After five minutes they figured he was on trail, trudged up the hill, then found him laying behind a miniscule yucca on someone’s driveway.

A note from Pee Wee: Nash Hash 2027 Ballina NSW

Nash Hash seems a long way off, but there seems there are a good number of Tassie Hashers from all clubs who are joining the ‘Gray Nomads’ brigade and have camper homes, caravans, camper trailers etc.

My thoughts are, if enough are interested to make up a convoy to depart all on the same ferry, slowly travel to Ballina and Hash on the way. Route and stopovers to be decided by the group. All staying in the same caravan park in Ballina.

The reason for such an early notice is to book ferry places and any caravan parks on the way. Short notice bookings on the ferry is nigh impossible.
